Truffles is a hybrid fiat/crypto banking platform for SMEs and commodity businesses. As the sole end-to-end designer, I designed the full product surface — onboarding, dashboard, invoicing, payments, transfers, contacts, and KYC — from research through high-fidelity UI. It went on to process $1B+ in total payment volume.

The problem
SMEs and commodity businesses operating across fiat and crypto had no banking product built for them — they stitched together exchanges, wallets, and traditional banking, with every payment carrying real, sometimes irreversible, financial risk. Trust and clarity weren't nice-to-haves; they were the product.
The approach
As founding designer I owned the entire surface from research through shipped UI. The design principle was to make crypto-rails feel like business banking: staged KYC so businesses could start before completing full verification, and a two-step payment confirmation with OTP verification to protect against irreversible errors on large transfers.
What shipped
The complete platform — onboarding, dashboard, invoicing, payments, transfers, contacts, and KYC flows — including the on-chain invoicing experience behind 11M+ invoices raised as NFTs. The product onboarded 30+ enterprise businesses and $18M+ in payment volume within its first seven weeks, scaling past $1B in total volume.
